- Sponsor
The Salmon Arm’s Biggest Silverbacks Fans Contest is sponsored and administered by MisMacK Clean Cosmetics Inc., located at 471 5th Street SW, Salmon Arm, British Columbia, referred to in these rules as the “Sponsor.”
MisMacK is solely responsible for reviewing nominations and selecting the two fans.
- Contest Period
The Contest begins on August 7, 2026, at 12:00 am Pacific Time and closes on August 21, 2026, at 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
Nominations received before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible.
- Eligibility
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada of any age.
Nominees do not need to live in Salmon Arm. However, each nominee must be available to attend an in person photo session at the MisMacK Logistics Building in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. The photo session is tentatively scheduled for August 31, 2026, with the final date and time to be confirmed with the selected fans.
Travel, accommodation, meals, and all other expenses associated with attending the photo session are the responsibility of the selected fans and are not included.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and representatives of the Sponsor, along with members of their immediate households and anyone involved in administering or judging the Contest, are not eligible.
For a nominee under 19, a parent or legal guardian must approve the nomination and participation. The parent or legal guardian must attend the photo session and sign all required documents.
- How to Enter or Nominate a Fan
During the Contest Period, complete and submit the official nomination form available HERE
A person may nominate themselves or another eligible fan.
The nomination must include all required information and answer the nomination questions honestly and completely.
If nominating another person, the person submitting the nomination must have permission to share the nominee’s information with MisMacK.
There is no purchase required to enter or be selected.
A person may submit nominations for more than one individual. Duplicate nominations for the same person from the same email address may be removed.
Automated, incomplete, fraudulent, copied, or otherwise inappropriate nominations may be disqualified at the Sponsor’s discretion.
- Selected Fans
MisMacK intends to select two Silverbacks fans representing two generations:
One fan under 19
One fan aged 19 or older
If there are no suitable eligible nominations within one of these categories, the Sponsor may select another eligible nominee at its discretion.
Selection will not be based on appearance, social media following, writing ability, or the number of nominations received.
- Selection Criteria
Eligible nominations will be reviewed by representatives of MisMacK.
Each nomination will be evaluated using the following criteria:
Passion for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and the story shared in the nomination: 50 percent
Connection to the team, hometown, or Silverbacks community: 30 percent
Ability to represent the welcoming spirit of the Every Age. Every Stage. and Fan Kit™ campaigns: 20 percent
In the event of a tie, the nomination receiving the highest score for passion and story will be selected.
This is a judged Contest. The selected fans will not be chosen randomly.
The chances of being selected depend on the number and quality of eligible nominations received within each intended age category.
- Selection and Notification
The two potential selected fans are expected to be chosen on or around August 24, 2026.
The Sponsor will attempt to contact each potential selected fan, or their parent or legal guardian when applicable, using the email address or telephone number provided with the nomination.
A potential selected fan must respond within 48 hours of the first contact attempt and confirm their ability to attend the photo session.
If a potential selected fan cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required time, cannot attend the photo session, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or declines to sign the required documents, the Sponsor may select an alternate fan.
No person will be officially confirmed as a selected fan until all requirements have been satisfied.
- Prize
Two prizes are available.
Each selected fan will receive one MisMacK x Silverbacks Fan Kit™, with an approximate retail value of $25 CAD.
The total approximate retail value of the two guaranteed prizes is $50 CAD.
A prize must be accepted as awarded. It cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or substituted by the selected fan.
The Sponsor may substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
Additional Silverbacks merchandise may be provided if available. Until the items and approximate value are confirmed, this merchandise is not guaranteed and is not included in the stated prize value.
- Photo Session and Promotional Feature
Each selected fan will be invited to participate in a professional photo session at the MisMacK Logistics Building in Salmon Arm, British Columbia.
Before participating, each selected fan must sign a separate photo and likeness release. For a selected fan under 19, the release must be signed by their parent or legal guardian.
The release will describe the permitted use of the selected fan’s name, photograph, image, voice, statements, and likeness in connection with the MisMacK x Silverbacks Fan Kit™ retail tag, websites, social media, advertising, publicity, and promotional materials.
Photographs may be used during the 2026/2027 season and for any additional period stated in the signed photo and likeness release.
Participation in the photo session and promotional feature does not create an employment, endorsement, agency, or partnership relationship between the selected fan and MisMacK or the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
- Nomination Content
By submitting a nomination, the person submitting confirms that:
The information provided is true and complete
They have permission to nominate the individual named
The nomination does not violate another person’s privacy or rights
The content is not defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, unlawful, or inappropriate
The Sponsor may use the nomination content internally to administer and judge the Contest.
Submission of a nomination does not give the Sponsor permission to use the nominee’s photograph or likeness publicly. That permission will be obtained separately from each selected fan through the photo and likeness release.
- Personal Information and Privacy
Personal information collected through the nomination form will be used to administer the Contest, review nominations, contact potential selected fans, confirm eligibility, coordinate the photo session, and award the prizes.
Contest related communication is separate from marketing communication.
Submitting a nomination does not automatically subscribe the person submitting or the nominee to MisMacK marketing emails.
A separate optional consent box must be selected before MisMacK may add someone to its marketing email list. Marketing consent may be withdrawn at any time through the unsubscribe link included in MisMacK emails.

- General Conditions
By participating, each person submitting a nomination agrees to comply with these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final.
The Sponsor may disqualify any person who attempts to interfere with the Contest, submit false information, manipulate the nomination process, or act in a way that compromises the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
The Sponsor may cancel, suspend, modify, or extend the Contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect its proper administration, fairness, security, or operation.
The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted, or technically unsuccessful submissions, or for website, internet, device, or platform failures.
- Release of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, each entrant and nominee releases the Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, and authorized promotional partners from claims arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance and use of a prize, except where prohibited by law.
Nothing in these rules limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
- Social Media and Platform Disclaimer
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, Jotform, or any other social media or form platform used to promote or administer the Contest.
Participants release those platforms from responsibility related to the Contest.
- Governing Law
The Contest and these Official Contest Rules are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
